Placing the Feathers VGs on the 801 tail
Place the VGs near the leading edge of the underside of the elevator.
Set the elevator at neutral cruise position, and place the VGs such that they are hidden
in the slot just out of the airflow at cruise but extend into the airflow as soon as
the elevator is deflected upwards.
Spacing is with the 30mm template. |
